The Dow Hotel Company : Food & Beverage Promo

AWARD WINNER To increase food and beverage sales, Dow needed a promotion that could be handed out to guests during check-in across 12 properties, with different restaurants, under multiple banners—including Hilton, Marriott, Radisson, and Sheraton. Having worked with the hospitality sector for numerous years, we were up for the challenge. And given our own experience in travel and general crankiness during check-in, we knew we needed to develop a piece that was a quick read and self-explanatory.

Q&A designed a small promo that fit snuggly into a key card packet. Each face had an intriguing lead-in, and the piece was accordion folded so that a guest could stand it on the room desk or tray table, creating a visual reminder that there’s an offer waiting. Sales increased across the board during the promotion. In fact, it was such a success that we have since been invited to help develop five more packages.
